Dayton Adult Education Modular Building
General Notice
Lyon County School District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Dayton Adult Education Modular Building
No. PWP-LY-2025-311
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Lyon County School District (LCSD) located at 25 E. Goldfield, Yerington, Nevada 89447, until Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Work consists of performing or providing all labor, services, and documentation necessary to produce such construction and furnishing, installing, and incorporating all materials and equipment into such construction, all as required by the Contract Documents.
The Work generally includes but is not limited to the construction of a concrete pad and aggregate base pad for installation of a modular building and utility service connections as further described below.
Parking Lot and Site Improvements
The modular building will be located off the existing parking lot located at Dayton High School. The parking lot will be cut into for the installation of a concrete pad for prefabricated metal ramp/stairs. An aggregate pad will be constructed for the modular building and associated utility services.
Modular Building
The modular office will be procured by LCSD, delivered to the site by others, and installed on a gravel pad prepared by the Contractor. Modular building installation will include connecting proposed domestic water, sewer, and electrical services as shown on the Drawings.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Dayton Adult Education Modular Building/No. PWP-LY2025-311
Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $80,000. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: www.lumosinc.com/

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be charged to log into the plan room to obtain each set of Plans and Contract Documents.
Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Pre-bid Conference
A Pre-bid Conference will be conducted on Friday April 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the project site, located at 335 Dayton Valley Road, Dayton, NV 89403. Bidders, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Instructions to Bidders
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form (separate Bid package) and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in accordance with Section 00200. Successful Bidders will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the contact price.
The Owner will not award the Contract to a Bidder who, at the time of submitting a Bid, was not properly licensed under the provisions of Chapter 624 of NRS or if the Contract would exceed the limit of the Bidder's license. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
